Sculptor/Painter Gets National Ink
Sculptor and Painter Mark Vickers was acknowledged in the September issue of Interior Sources Magazine for his interior design and contracted larger scale outdoor sculpture. The magazine is a primary nationally distributed trade publication to the Interior Design Industry.
Vickers, 41, specializes in steel and mixed media sculpture incorporating found finished objects and multicolored patina surfaces. As a painter, his work is concentrated on abstract figuratives with textured surface backgrounds. His studio is at 3840 Industrial Way, Suite B in June. The studio showroom is available to the design trade industry, set designers and collectors by appointment.
A native of Vallejo, Vickers has completed postgraduate school work in Dijon, France.
